Technical & eTeki Application:

<span style=”font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; color: #606470;”>You are not required to download any software; simply login to eTeki using your username and password to participate in a live interview. Alternatively, click on the link within your interview email reminder from eTeki to join the session.</span>

<span style=”font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; color: #606470;”><a href=”https://interview.eteki.com/application/test”>Test your Microphone and Webcam</a> in any of the supported browsers from the same devices and internet connection you will use for your interview. Customer support may ask for additional connectivity tests prior to the interview.</span>

<span style=”font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; color: #606470;”>You must create an account and verify your email address before logging into eTeki. Once your email address has been verified, you should be able to sign in. If you are still having trouble, check your username and/or password. Also, eTeki undergoes scheduled maintenance updates from time to time. Find out if you are visiting the site during one of these maintenance windows. </span>

<span style=”font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; color: #606470;”>If you have multiple interview assignments, please submit them one at a time. After completing one request, click the “Save and Post New Job” button to proceed with the next request. In the future, you will be able to seamlessly move job requisitions and candidate details into eTeki through integration with your ATS. </span>

<span style=”font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; color: #606470;”>Congratulations! You took the first big step toward becoming a part of eTeki. You will receive a verification message at your registered email address. Click the link in the email to activate your account and set-up a password to complete the registration process. We’ll have you connected to the platform in no time. </span>

<span style=”font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; color: #606470;”>Check your browser settings and make sure that you have both Java and JavaScript enabled. We only accept files with a .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt, .rtf, or .odt extension (maximum file size of 5MB).
For uploading your profile image our system is compatible with jpg, jpeg, png (with file size limit of 5MB). To upload a Video Bio use mp4, avi, mkv, ogg, mpeg, flv (with file size limit to 25MB) and for an audio Bio upload use mp3, wav, wmv, ogg (with file size limit to 10MB). If you’re working with a different type of file, you will need to change the format to proceed.</span>

eTeki is not a staffing company and does not help with permanent or contract placements. We help freelancers build their reputation as certified technical interviewers and make a lasting impact on the caliber of IT hires across the globe.

<span style=”font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; color: #606470;”>eTeki’s technical advisory panel follows a three step process which includes validating and verifying the information provided by freelancers, confirming mastery eTeki standardized interview methodology, and conducting a mock interview with one of our board members before receiving their certified interviewer status from eTeki.</span>

eTeki provides training to all interviewers on using a common structured interviewing methodology. Our platform facilitates communication between the recruiter and interviewer regarding specific interview assignments. The job requisition and candidate resumes provided by the recruiter determine the approach utilized for each technical screen and the feedback provided in each interview report.

You must create an account and verify your email address before logging into eTeki. Once your email address has been verified, please sign in and complete your profile information for consideration. Prior to receiving an interview assignment, all prospective interviewers are subject to validation of experience, familiarity with technical interviewing standards, and coaching provided in mock interview sessions.

Your payment is not based on the candidate being hired or selected by the company. You are paid per interview conducted.

You are paid based upon the rates you request, at the time of accepting an interview assignment.

As a certified interviewer, you are paid after the interview is completed and interview report has been submitted to eTeki and accepted by the recruiter. Interview reports approved by Friday, 6PM EST are paid the following Monday.

Currently we only disburse payments to interviewers with PayPal accounts.

No, unfortunately not. You may not have any employment outside of your approved H1B employment. Any other employment would require another work visa.

We respect your time and will honor your payment if there is a candidate no show. In regards to any other situation, the decision will be made on a case by case basis.

We will be providing you with a 1099-MISC tax form at the end of each calendar year for your personal and/or business tax filing.

The number of assignments you get will depend on the match between your skill set and the job requirement. There is no commitment on the number of assignments you can obtain per week.

We currently have live technical support available Monday through Friday from 9am – 6pm EST. If you interview outside of these hours, you can request a mobile number for after hours support team member.

The mode of interview depends on the recruiter’s request which must be followed.

We do not encourage rescheduling/cancellation unless there is a valid reason. For any change to the schedule please contact our dedicated support center.

eTeki provides training to all interviewers on using a common structured interviewing methodology, once you are registered with us.

Interviewers serve in an independent contractor role with eTeki. Outside of per interview compensation, there are no other benefits offered at the present time.

You are a brand ambassador of eTeki. We request you refrain from any last minute reschedule requests or cancellations, except in the case of unavoidable circumstances. Should there be an emergency which would not allow you to conduct the scheduled interview please contact eTeki at the earliest possible time. Repeated last-minute changes will be considered as negative feedback in your customer reviews and ratings.
