We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation and maintenance of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.

You should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress developer can create attractive, user-friendly, and mobile responsive websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Function within the marketing department as the website development expert. .
• Design and build the website front-end using brand and messaging guidelines. 
• Create website architecture for maximum effectiveness.
• Design and manage the website back-end for speed and search performance.
• Manage mobile responsiveness and accessibility on company sites. 
• Implement AMP framework and Core Web Vitals.
• Decrease backend technical errors reactively and make proactive recommendations to avoid such instances. 
• Integrate, set up and maintain plugins like WPML, Yoast SEO, Elementor, WPBakery Page Builder Membership, etc. 
• Update WordPress themes to assure functionality and security are top notch. 
• Test, debug, analyze and fix site problems/issues within industry standards.
• Monitoring the technical performance of the buyer’s website journey.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer for at least 5 years.
• Must have technical experience with Core Web Vitals and the AMP Framework.
• Knowledge of AWS server integration. 
• Knowledge of PHP, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
• Experience with implementing SEO/CRO best practices within WordPress
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Experience transforming complex PSD layouts into pixel perfect responsive sites.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Visakhapatnam, India or Remote

• Full-time
• Occasional weekends necessary 
• 2-11pm IST
